Salary Cap Change

Effective December 24, 2011, the salary cap for individuals funded via DHHS grants and other extramural funding mechanisms has been reduced from Executive Level I of the Federal Executive Pay Scale ($199,700 in 2011) to Executive Level II ($179,700). Agencies that fall under the DHHS umbrella include: NIH, AHRQ, CDC, HRSA, SAMHSA. For more information regarding the NIH guidance, click here.
