NIH Names ACTSI Investigator/Leader Director of the National Heart, Lung & Blood Institute
NIH director, Dr. Francis Collins named Dr. Gary Gibbons the new director of NHLBI. Dr. Gibbons is the founder and director of the Cardiovascular Research Institute, chairperson of the Department of Physiology and professor of physiology and medicine at the Morehouse School of Medicine.
