Geriatric Nephrology in the 21st Century: Challenges and Opportunities-November 7
This symposium brings together leading kidney specialists from the U.S. and France to discuss challenges posed by the rise of chronic kidney disease. Presentation topics include risk factors for the development of chronic kidney disease in elderly patients, disparities in access to transplant waiting lists, transplant outcomes and options for renal replacement therapies and dialysis vascular access. The event will be held from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. in Emory’s Rollins School of Public Health. This event is free and open to the public.
