ACTSI MSCR Student Awarded K23

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute of the NIH recently awarded Dr. Michael Halkos a K23 career development award. Dr. Halkos is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Emory University’s School of Medicine. Dr. Halkos is currently a student in the ACTSI’s Master of Science of Clinical Research (MSCR) program at Emory.
