Stem Cell Trials Offer Hope to Treat Diseases
Two promising clinical trials were highlighted Tuesday at the second day of the World Stem Cell Summit, a conference of researchers and industry leaders this week at the Detroit Marriott. Of the two, Dr. Jonathan Glass, an Emory University professor and ACTSI investigator, is collaborating with Dr. Eva Feldman, a professor at the University of Michigan, on a clinical trial injecting neural stem cells into patients with Lou Gehrig's disease.
