ACTSI Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Initiative Update
The ACTSI's Biomedical Informatics Program (BIP) has deployed the new enterprise-wide, standards-based LIMS at the first research laboratory in Transplant. The lab has been using the system for two weeks to manage specimens. Deployments in multiple ACTSI Clinical Interaction Network (CIN) laboratories across Atlanta, in addition to Winship's Biomarker's Core, will soon follow. Thanks to each of these laboratories for being the first ones to volunteer to use the LIMS.
