Need a Collaborator? Search iResearchGeorgia

iResearchGeorgia, a website collaboration between Georgia Research Alliance and the Georgia Department of Economic Development provides information on research expertise in Georgia, with eight participating institutions. The site is a biomedical expertise profiling database that will help to improve opportunities for research collaboration within the state of Georgia. The pilot phase of this first-of-its-kind research tool was announced by Governor Perdue in May 2009. The database is the only one in the U.S. that combines the research capabilities of multiple public and private universities within a single state.

At this time iResearchGeorgia contains, for the most part, faculty conducting research in the biosciences sector, in the future the database will be broadened to include many other technical fields. The site will include faculty profiles, publications, research grants, CVs, patent information, and will link to the ACTSI's eBIRT, electronic Biomedical Interactive Resource Tool. Finally, the Georgia Department of Economic Development will link to iResearchGeorgia to market Georgia's research enterprise.
