Atlanta Launches Cancer Genomics Center
The Collaborative Cancer Genomics Center at Clark Atlanta University is a new partnership among CAU, Georgia Tech, the Georgia Research Alliance, the Georgia Cancer Coalition, and St. Joseph's Translational Research Initiatives in Oncology. To find a biomarker for prostate cancer and understand the underlying causes of other cancers, the state-of-the-art gene sequencing facility will use next-generation instruments to collect data that will then be analyzed at GA Tech.
