Community Engagement Funding Opportunity
The ACTSI's Community Engagement & Research Program (CERP) Mini-Grant Program invites proposals for partnership-based health projects that involve collaborations between a community organization and a faculty member affiliated with Morehouse School of Medicine, Emory University, or Georgia Tech. A request for application for a funding opportunity will be issued March 2, 2009. Four grants will be awarded each up to $4,000. Health topics may include, but need not be limited to, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, HIV/AIDS/other STDs, nutrition, physical activity, stroke, teen pregnancy, tobacco, or violence/injury.
